The King and Queen Mother Travel to China for a Health Check-up

PHNOM PENH: The King of Cambodia, His Majesty King Norodom Sihamoni, and Her Majesty the Queen Mother of Cambodia departed to China on Friday for a health check up.

Their special flight left Phnom Penh International Airport at around 9 am on Friday morning.

During their absence, the President of the Senate, Say Chhum, will act as the Acting Head of State until their return to Cambodia.

The King and Queen Mother depart to China for health check-ups at least twice a year.
